Frequently asked questions

Is my photo uploaded?

No. Your photo, face points, measurements and scores are analysed and kept on your phone. FaceFrame has no account and no server that receives them. See the Privacy Policy below.

The scan doesn't start or can't find my face

Allow camera access: iPhone Settings › FaceFrame › Camera, or Android Settings › Apps › FaceFrame › Permissions.
Face the camera straight on, in even light, with your whole face inside the oval. Keep a relaxed, neutral expression and your eyes open.
Or tap Upload beside the shutter and pick a clear, front-facing photo.

Why did my face shape change between scans?

Light, distance and head angle change the measurements a little. FaceFrame keeps your shape steady across scans and only changes it when several scans agree. Your Look Score is meant to change: it reflects your current haircut.

How do I restore FaceFrame Pro?

Open Settings › Restore purchases (or Restore on the Pro screen), signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account you bought with. There is no FaceFrame login: Pro belongs to your store account.

How do I cancel the weekly subscription?

iPhone / iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › FaceFrame Pro › Cancel Subscription.
Android: Google Play › your profile › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › FaceFrame Pro › Cancel.

Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Lifetime is a one-time payment and never renews.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, who handle refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com for the App Store, or Google Play's refund page for Android.
